London Lionhearts Volleyball Club

This year Lionhearts Xmas dinner party was a complete success. 37 people came to the Monument Pub for dinner and a few more came later for drinks and fun. Merry Christmas to all the players.

As some of you know, your club holds a junior session every Sunday from 4 to 6pm, just before our Women second division and Men premiership training sessions. Nassera and Toma from our women 2 div team are introducing volleyball to some pupils from the neighboring schools, however we would need more volunteers to help the club grow this section.

This would help the whole club in many ways:
- introducing the sport you love to kids
- helping kids to improve their social and athletic skills via volleyball
- getting fundings and help from the council

It is a huge task to run make the Junior section successful, however, it is possible with a couple more volunteers. you would work as a team with Nassera and Toma to find more pupils to join the sessions and you would run the sessions. If you love working with kids this is a great opportunity

As you know the first batch of hoodies and warm up tshirts has finally arrived. We are in the process of giving them to the players who have transferred the money to us. Please speak to me or to Allan if you have any questions about it. A few players came forward too late and want a hoodie, so WE ARE ORDERING MORE HOODIES AND WARM UP TSHIRTS :)
