The first clash of the season for our ladies teams will be when Lionhearts team 2 will host ... Lionhearts team 1 for their first game in London’s volleyball Top Flight. Yes, that’s right, there will be a lot of Lionesses on one court on the 8th October! Put it down in your diaries, come and cheer for er… the Lions!

Our –also- newly promoted Men team will host the 2007-08 premiership winners London Spikers. It should be a very good test for the guys if they want to confirm their place in London’s best volleyball division. They will need your support! Come in numbers!

GAME START: 6.20pm

Lionhearts 3rd women team will have to wait their 3rd game and Sunday 1st of November to play at home. It will be a derby as they host neighbours London Lynx

Dear Lions,

As you know the club will be ordering dry-fit warm up t-shirts and hoodies to develop our club’s identity. It is a great deal as they are good quality and include the club’s name and the lion you can see on the right. While some players have already paid, we have not received enough payments yet to order the items. We now need to order as soon as possible if we want to be delivered in time for the beginning of the season, so it would be great to have all the shirts before the season starts so please transfer £25 as soon as possible to London Lionhearts Volleyball: Bank Sort Code: 30-94-24 Account number: 00559418 Don’t forget to write your surname and size as a reference for your payment. For example, if you are lucky enough to be called “John Smith” and you wear large shirts, then your payment reference will be “Smith L” Note: if you cannot pay by transfer, please bring the correct amount to Thomas on Sundays at the Men training at 6pm or on Mondays at 7pm before the Women Premiership Team 1 training. Thanks!

The Junior section has not started training yet. But the 1st training will be held on Sunday 20th September as 2 of our coaches are still on holidays. The trainings are from 4 to 6 pm and we have a team of 4 people coaching the juniors, 2 male coaches from Brazil and Italy with international experience (female teams and kids) and 2 female assistants, also part of our club in our social team. It is only the second year we run the junior session, so there is plenty we can still achieve.

Hello Lions,

In September, the trainings are starting again for every team and the first games will probably start in a few weeks. Every team has now a coach, so we are all ready to begin this 2009-2010 season with lots of wins.

Don't forget to fill in the Registration Form. You can hand it over to your coach or team manager before the training starts.
