The London Lionhearts is a non profit sports club started in 1998, by Alvin Spencer. The legend has it that he wanted to have a club of his own .

The name was inspired by Ben Hill as a progression from a training academy called The London Lion Cubs.

London Lionhearts is a fun but competitive club. Many of the club's players are foreigners and the club is like a second family all of us. We enjoy good training sessions and high intensity in our games, but we also like to organise parties and have some fun.

The Lionhearts is one of the few multi-sports clubs in England with 3 volleyball teams, 2 football teams and 3 netball teams already well involved in different London leagues.
